Stephen and I went on a hike in the woods to get to the neighborhood park. Below are some photos/videos of our little adventure. What fun and how wonderful to wake up to such a great view the day after Christmas.

Baby birds in my grill

OK, so Nelly may have gold and diamond in his grill, but I have baby birds.. Top that!

Last week I cleaned my grill and a bird was screaming at me. I don't use the secondary burner much and when I opened it found a nest with eggs. I left them alone for a week and watched the momma bird fly into the grill and feed, clean, sit with the eggs. Well, today I heard some noise and found babies inside my grill.

"Babies in my grill" could be Nelly's new hit single. But until then check out these really cool pictures.

It is really freaky when you click on the picture and see it close up.

I found her on the top of my tent. After my initial reaction to smash it, I placed her on a log and watched her for a little while with my son, who also wanted to smash it (a guy thing).

I am not sure if she has babies in her or what. But, she was big and freaky.
